Deidra "Baby Girl Dee-Dee" Herring, 28, born February 10, 1986, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014. Ms. Herring was a resident of Montgomery, AL. She graduated from Leroy High School in May of 2005. There she was a member of the Washington County American Red Cross Chapter for youth, where she served as the chapter's President for two years. As a young girl, Deidra was also a member of the the Girl Scouts. She attended South University of Montgomery, AL and achieved excellence as she retained honors of becoming a Dean's List recipient. She worshiped under watch care at River's Edge Chuch, Montgomery, AL.
Preceded in death by her loving father, A. L. Herring, Deidra leaves to cherish her memories, a loving mother, Ada Herring; sisters, Pauline (Richard) Williams, Phelita Sashington and Shatasha Armstead; brothers, Chuckie Herring and Andra Herring; nephews, Karteles Turner, Dustin Herring and Ashton Gipson; loving and devoted god-parents, Rev. and Sis. Moore; best friend, Joseph Moore and a host of loving friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM funeral hour friday, February 28, 2014 at the Union Chappel Missionary Baptist Church in Barlow Bend, AL with burial to follow in Mt. Bethel Church Cemetery in Frankville, AL. Rev. Tommie Moore will officiate the services.
