Annie Doris Baker Campbell, a resident of the Bladon Springs community in Silas, made her earthly transition Saturday, March 16, 2019, at her home surrounded by family. Born Feb. 19, 1942 to Cyvella Baker, she was 77 years of age.
Annie was a member of the Goodwill Baptist Church in Bladon Springs, she loved attending church. She served in the Missionary Society before her health failed. In her spare time, she loved sewing, fishing and especially gardening and having beautiful flowers. Annie enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren, great-grands and the children of anyone who needed her help. Children were her joy.
Preceding her in death was her mother, Cyvella Baker; her husband, Oscar Campbell; daughter, Angie Campbell; sisters, Phylis Green and Carlean Summers; grandmother, Lenny Baker; uncle, Roscoe Baker and George White; niece, Drussie Turner and nephew, Milton Green.
Left to cherish her loving memories are her three loving daughters, Rolanda D. Johnson and Sharon Campbell, both of Bladon Springs, AL, and Shelia (Anthony) Sellers of Coffeeville, AL; one stepdaughter, Mary Moye of Mobile, AL; two sons, Gary (Valeria) Campbell of Salitpa, AL and Charlie (Catherine) Campbell of Toddtown, AL; seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, twelve step-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Clifford Green of Bladon Springs, AL and William (Elsa) Green of Cincinnati, OH; with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; special caregivers, Lillie Young and Bob Rogers.
