Annie Jemison Campbell
Mrs. Annie Deloris Jemison Campbell, affectionately known as “Sister,” was born to the late Wilbert Jemison Sr. and Rosie Lee Pritchett Jemison on May 03, 1958 in Walker Springs. She departed this life on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019 at her loving daughter’s home in Birmingham.
She was a member of Greater Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church in Walker Springs and later moved her membership to the Church of Living Waters No. 2.
Annie was proceeded in death by her parents; brothers, Michael Jemison, Earnest Jemison and Willie Ray Jemison; and son-in-law, Terrance Moore.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Terry Campbell of Jackson; four sons, Derrick (Shaletha) Hunt, Larry (Shante) Hunt and Earnest Hunt, all of Birmingham, and Warren Lamont Hunt of Iowa; one daughter, Markeesha Moore of Birmingham; four sisters, Florine Jemison and Gloria Leggett, both of Walker Springs, LaJoyce (Samuel) Chapman of Jackson and Tenisa Pritchett of Davie, Fla.; four brothers, Wilbert Jemison Jr. of Walker Springs, Bennie (Clara) Jemison Sr. of Gainstown, Fredrick Jemison of El Paso, Texas, and Renay Jemison of Mobile; mother-in-law, Nancy B. Chapman; six sisters-in-law, Katherine (Kevin) Malone, Sherry Chapman, Karen Bumpers, Augustine Williams, Dorothy Williams and Priscilla Jemison Cunningham; brother-in-law, Michael Chapman; two uncles, Theodore (Mary Ann) Pritchett and Cleon (Monica) Pritchett; 20 grandchildren; with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Final life celebration has been entrusted to Jackson Memorial Funeral Home, 203 East Ross St., Jackson, AL 36545.
