Charles Williams Obituary

Charles Williams, a native of the Rockville community, was born April 2, 1954. The son of the late Calvin and Martha Lee Hughes-Williams, Charles departed this life at home on August 8, 2019. He was 65 years of age. He enjoyed repairing upholstery and hanging out with family and friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Calvin and Martha Lee Williams; two sisters, Rosie Lee Sims and Ruth Ann Martin and four brothers, Calvin Williams Jr., Frankie Lee Jackson, Bennie Williams and Nathaniel Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his memories on son, Anthony Charles Jones; one daughter, Shalayne A. Williams-Tucker both of Mobile; five granddaughters one grandson; three sisters, Retha Mae Kirby of Anniston, Susie Lee Williams and Linda Faye (Eddie) Martin, both of Rockville; three brothers, David Williams of Gainesville, FL., Archie Williams of Rockville and John Edward (Sheryl) Williams of Walker Springs; one aunt Perrie Lee Martin of Jackson; three uncles, Richard (Catherine) Jackson of Jackson, Nathaniel (Louise) Hughes of Rockville and Jessie Hughes of Mobile; one devoted nephew, Maurice Williams; one devoted niece, Shanna Waters; with a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
