Clifford Lee James, Sr.

Clifford Lee James, Sr. departed this life on Sunday, July 14, 2019 while at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Mobile, AL. Born December 6, 1953, he was 65 years of age. He was raised by loving parents, Queen Eliza and King Phelon. Confesing Christ at an early age, he united with the New Canaan Baptist Church in the Choctaw Bluff community.
 

Preceding him in death were his parents; sister, Charlotte Pernell; and brother, Bishop Lennon Prezelle English.
 

Left to forever cherish his loving memories are his loving wife, Mattie James, Carlton, AL; six children, Jamie (Delia) Jackson, Carlton, AL, Georginia (Chris) Washington, Alma, AL, Melvina (Jerry) Lewis, Carlton, AL, Clifford Lee (Deidra) James, Thomasville, AL, Clinton (Dominique) James, Mobile, AL, and Alex James, Carlton, AL; a brother-in-law, Andrew (Elaine) Jackson, Jackson, AL; three sisters-in-law, Lemelia (Mack) Collins, Prichard, AL, Lillian (Charles) Nettles, Grove Hill, AL, and Annie (Lawrence) Thomas, Carlton, AL; nineteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
