Mrs. Desma Mitchell Pope was born on April 28, 1924 to the late John Wesley Mitchell and Cornelia Creighton Mitchell in Whatley, Alabama. Early Saturday morning, on October 12, 2019, God whispered to His beautiful child “come home.” She left everything behind and followed Him. Her transition from labor to reward was swift and peaceful.
