Deacon Early Bee Reed, was born on November 15, 1927 in Cortelyou, AL. to the late Della Wright and Levert Reed Sr. On September 22, 2019 he was called home to be with the Lord.

Deacon Early Bee Reed confessed the Lord as his personal savior at an early age and attended Union Baptist Church. He served as deacon in his church for many years. Deacon Reed was a faithful servant that enjoyed talking about the Lord and testifying about how good God has been to him. Deacon Reed attented church services until his health began to fail him.

Deacon Early Bee Reed was a firm believer in being an entrepreneur. At a young age he decided to work for himself. He also enjoyed driving and fixing on his trucks. He was proud to be a mentor to several young men in Cortelyou and the surrounding communities; often giving them an opportunity to work alongside him.
