Elizabeth Woodard Jackson, a resident of the Manila community, made her transition on Saturday, August 3, 2019, while at SAAD Hospice in Mobile, AL. Born August 27, 1941 to Dock Lister and Pearlie Whittaker Woodard, she was 77 years of age. Elizabeth attended Miracle of Faith Church under the leadership of Pastor Terry Hunt.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Dock and Pearlie Woodard; husband, Allen Jackson; sister, Arthurine Bridges; brother, Walter Woodard; grandson, Deon Causey; and son-in-law, Oscar Causey, Jr.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Brenda Napier Causey of Silas, AL; son, Carlos Ray Woodard of Walker Springs, AL; a loving sister, Annie Pearl Taylor of Jackson, AL; brother, William Woodard of Mobile, AL; five grandchildren, Orinthell Antonia (Shirley) Napier of Koenton, AL, Dewayne Lamont (Shelma) Napier of Cullomburg, AL, Darnell (Kwanza) Napier of Mobile, AL, Danielle Napier of Silas, AL, and Nishika (Kyle Preister) Napier of Butler, AL; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including Edward Jackson, Augusta Jackson, Shirley Bowe, Mattie Pearl Taylor, Clara Mae Jemison and the Choctaw Bluff Senior Center family.
