Fred Louis Pruitt

Fred Louis Pruitt, age 69, was born in Jackson Dec. 21, 1949 to the late Maggie Simon Pruitt White and Tarranza “Buck” Pruitt. Fred exchanged this life for eternal life Nov. 16, 2019 in Cleveland, OH.

Mr. Pruitt was a member of the Prestwick High School Class of 1968. Following high school, he attended Alabama A&M University where he received a bachelor’s degree. While there, he became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He was employed with the United States Department of Agriculture and retired following many years of service.

Fred is survived by sisters, Gwendolyn Hunter, Mary Kimbrough (Ernest) Nettles and Priscilla Andrews; brothers, Henri (Benita) White, Reginald (June) White and Jerome (Misty) White; with many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and devoted neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. James Cotton.
