John Maxie Frowner, departed this life July 21, 2019 while at the Jackson Medical Center in Jackson, AL. Born June 17, 1940 in Manila, AL to Ellis Christopher and Mary Ann Mose Frowner, he was 79 years of age. He united with St. Matthew #1 Baptist Church in Manila at an early age. Laughing and joking with family and friends was his joy.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Ellis and Mary Frowner; siblings, Jessie Frowner, David Frowner, Edward Frowner, Clayton Frowner and Edna Frowner; three children, Lolita Jackson, Lisa Frowner and Rodrick Frowner; and granddaughter Kamiyah Frowner.
Left to forever cherish his memories are his loving wife, Mary Alice Frowner, Manila, AL; three daughters, Mary Frowner and Shirley Kimbrough all of Manila, AL, and Karen (Edward) Wright of Zimco, AL; and two son, Connie Frowner of Manila, AL and John Frowner of Mobile, AL; one sister, Mary Lee Kirksey of Chicago, IL; four brothers, Webster Frowner of Kansas City, MO, Henry (Martha) Frowner of Manila, Bennie Frowner and Phillip (Annie) Frowner of Alma, AL; one son-in-law, Derick Jackson of Choctaw Bluff, AL; one sister-in-law, Aretha Frowner of Alma, AL; eighteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
