Lacy Jean Cox

Lacy Jean Cox, a native of Calvert, AL and resident of Chickasaw, AL, answered the Master’s call January 31, 2019 at her home surrounded by family. She was born September 30, 1983 to Carlos and Ida Davis Cox; she was thirty five years of age.

Lacy was a member of McIntosh High School graduating Class of 2001. She was a member of House of Rescue Church in Mobile, AL under the leadership of Pastor Doris Bettis, where she served on the Hospitality Committee. She loved attending church and spending time with her loving daughters, her family and church family. She was preceded in death by her father, Carlos Cox.

Left to cherish her sweet memories are her loving and caring daughters, Orlexia Coleman and Orlashia Coleman, both of Chickasaw, AL; devoted and caring mother, Ida Davis Cox of Calvert, AL; devoted sister and brother, Amy Cox and Norman Cox, both of Calvert, AL; grandmother, Alma Todd Cox of La Maranda, CA; two nieces, Amiya Patrick and Brooklyn Montgomery; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, friends and church family.
