Mr. Louis Gregory Cook, a native of New Orleans, LA, was born on September 25, 1960 to the late Emogene McGhee and Louis Causey. He departed this life on April 15, 2019 at his place of residence.
Louis was a long-term resident of New Orleans, Louisiana before relocating to Mobile, Alabama following Hurricane Katrina. He loved the New Orleans Saints “Who Dat”, the Second Line of New Orleans, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Axiom Lodge #216, New Orleans. He was employed for many years with AmeriForce.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Emogene McGhee and Louis Causey.
Left to forever cherish his memories are his loving wife: LaRhonda Dixon Cook; two sons: DaMarcus and JaCorey of Mobile, AL; one daughter Shcorrah of Mobile, AL; two loving brothers; Alan (Lisa) Cook of Ft. Worth, TX and Anthony L. Harris of Grove Town, GA ; two loving sisters: Elaine (Evans) Alexander and Darlinda Cook of Bridge City, LA; a loving mother-in-law: Gloria Dixon of Mobile, AL; thirteen sisters-in-law, one devoted: LaQuanda (Donald) English of Semmes, AL; four brothers-in-law; five grandchildren: Raphael, Jr., Romeo, Rylan, DaMarcus Jr. and Ryder; three close and devoted friends: Tyrone Thomas, George Stover and Ralph Stuckey; one devoted niece: Tamara (Warren) Lindsey of Marietta, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
