Thelma Lynum

Bro. Thelma "Big Wheel" Lynum departed this life Monday, June 10, 2019. Born July 17, 1935 to the late Virginia Lynum Williams in Whatley, he was 83 years of age. Thelma joined Morning Star Baptist Church at an early age. 

Preceding him in death were his loving wife of 52 years, Lovie Mae "Sis" Lynum; his mother, Virginia Lynum Williams; brother, Leon Williams; two children, Clayee and Earnest Lee; and one grandchild, Billy Lee and one great-grandchild, Samantha.

Thelma leaves to cherish his memories a loving daughter, Edna Mae Sharp; two sisters, Mizella Robinson and Naomi Simpson; one brother, Johnnie L. (Tanya) Williams Jr.; eight grandchildren, Rosie Davis, Dorthy Love, Joyce (David) Smith, devoted Debra Mose, Felicia Broussard, Arlisa Pernell, Roy (Shermeka) Mose and devoted Floyd (Arlinda) Shap Jr.; 25 great-grandchildren, one devoted, Gary Smith; 27 great-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Minnie Simpson and Annie Lou Armstead; a devoted nephew, Woodrow Wilson; a loving and devoted friend and caregiver, Kenny Mo; with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, one devoted, niece, Teresa Harris and a special friend Charles Ray Snell.
