Walter Daffin Obituary

Walter Lee Daffin affectionately known  as "Mann" was born Nov. 19, 1936 to the late Betty and Walter Daffin; he was 82 years of age at the time of his death. At an early age he united with Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Jackson. Walter peacefully transitioned from life to eternal rest June 15, 2019 at his residence.

He worked until retirement with Ace Demolition in Pittsburgh, PA., where he had dedicated years of hard work and service. Walter married Lula Mae Ervin and was later married to Lucinda Allen Daffin.

Walter was an avid sports fan and loved his home team, The Pittsburgh Steelers.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters, Mary Tucker and Margleen Daffin Berry; three brothers, Leroy Daffin, Ambrose Tucker Sr. and Edward Lee Daffin Sr.; son-in-law, Will Jones and daughter-in-law Diane Rogers Daffin.

He leaves to cherish his memories and legacy, eleven loving and devoted children, Barbara "Bobby" Robinson of New York. N.Y., Edward (Anise) Daffin of Detroit, MI., Barbara Jones, Willie (Fredricka) Daffin, Jackie (Marykay) Daffin, Harold Daffin and Carl (Roshonda) Daffin, all of Leroy, Tiffany Daffin of Largo, MD., Monica Daffin, Leontyne Daffin and Laura Robinson all of Pittsburgh, PA.; one loving sister Bettie Moore of Jackson; one brother-in-law, Johnny Berry of Jackson; 17 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
