Willodean Finch Obituary
Willodean Mitchell Finch a native of Grove Hill, AL exchanged life for eternity on December 4, 2018. She was born to the parentage of the late Ceasor and Della Cox Mitchell on September 12, 1919.
At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal Savoir and was baptized and became a member of the Pine Chapel No. 1 Baptist Church, Grove Hill, AL.
She was united in holy matrimony to the late Robert Lee Finch, Sr. on April 25, 1937.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and sewing for her family members.
In addition to her parents and husband, Willodean was preceded in death by a daughter: Della Finch Young, Six Sisters: Sally Mitchell, Catherine Williams, Mamie Mitchell, Gladys Holloway, Mary Adline Chapman, and Willie Mae Daniels. Three Brothers: Willie Lee Mitchell, Sr. Curtis Mitchell, and Ceasor Mitchell, Jr.
Her life will forever be cherished in the hearts of her six children: Robert Lee Finch, Jr., Coffeeville, AL, Charlie Finch, Detroit, MI, Dorothy Thornton, Detroit, MI, Holice Finch, Oswego, NY, Mary Golthy, Grove Hill, AL and Sue (Cleon) Bolden, Mount Vernon, AL. One brother: Jamie Mitchell, Mount Vernon, AL. Two Sisters: Bardee Davis, Wilmington, NC, and Nonie (Lester) Robinson, Grove Hill, AL. Two sisters-in-law: Augusta Finch, Anniston, AL and Zeola Mitchell, Cleveland, OH. Six grandchildren: Floyd Finch, Darryl (Tammy) Finch, Dianne Wiley, Jamaal Finch, Shawaungela Bolden, and Nicholas Bolden. Nine great grandchildren. One aunt: Alma Cox and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
