Angela Denise Bell-James, affectionately known as “Angie B” to those who knew and loved her most, exchanged this earthly life for her heavenly home on August 3, 2021. She was born November 29, 1969 to Joe and Mary Bell, Jr.. She resided in Montgomery, Alabama but Jackson AL is her hometown. Angela gave her life to Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Olive #2 Baptist Church. She graduated from Jackson High School in 1989. She went on to receive several college degrees, an Associates in Art in Computer Accounting Technology from Alabama Southern( Coastal Alabama) 1992, dual Bachelor of Science in Management and Accounting from Springhill College in 2002, Masters Degree in Finance from InterContinental University in 2006, Masters in Accounting in 2010. Also, she just recently received her CPA Certification.
Preceding her in death was the love of her life, her husband, Chapman James; her mother, Mary Ellen Bell; Father-in-Law, Johnny James, paternal grandparents, Joe and Luvater Calvin Bell, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Ida B. Morris, Sr..
Angela leaves to cherish her memory three loving children, Shakelia (Trienere) Bell of Huntsville, AL, Roderick (Christine) Adams Jr. of Mobile, AL, and Annie (Cherish) Matheny of Atlanta, GA. , three loving step-daughters Brandy Chambers, Christy (Antovia) Lamar, and Kimberly Mitchell; her father, Joe Bell, Jr. of Mobile, AL, mother-in-law Annie James of Mobile AL, two sisters Tangela Richardson of Ashland City, TN and Sangela (Corey) King of Mobile, AL grandchildren: Zayden, Zamorra, and Zamani Adams, Raelynn and Emilia Matheny, Asher and Gracelyn Lamar; three nieces, Makayla and Shayla Richardson, Caleesi King and a host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and friends.
