Annie Lee Franks, a native of Yarbo and a resident of Northport, answered the Master's call on May 14, 2024 while at USA Health South. She was born on September 19, 1948 to the parentage of Vester Turner and Johnnie Mae Turner. Vester and Johnnie Mae gave her to God at an early age. She became a devoted member at Kings Chapel Baptist Church, where she served as an usher until declining in health.
Annie was a devoted wife and mother. She was married to Willie Franks for 18 years.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Franks; children, Phillip Hall and Jimmy Franks; and siblings, Mary Alford, Brenda Turner, Roy Franks, Elmore Franks and Christine Franks.
Left to cherish her loving memories are her children, Tracy (Orlando) Morse of Tuscaloosa, Delouise (Kenneth) Rogers of Yarbo, Alliyah (Andrew) Jackson of McIntosh, Calvin (Betty) Franks of Yarbo, Willie Franks, Marcus Franks and Janet Franks, all of Tuscaloosa; siblings, Gloria Turner of Chatom, Betty Turner of South Carolina, Lorrine (James) Hurd of Millry, Dorothy Jordan of Yarbo, Annie (Bobby) White of Barlow, Lottie Jones and Mattie (Todd) Brunes, both of Mississippi, Larry (Arie) Franks of Gilbertown, Janita Franks and R.L. Franks, both of Mississippi, and Leslie Franks of Yarbo: with a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
