April Earnesha Williams was born Oct. 21, 1982 to Vonia McBride and Ernest Williams in Jackson. She gained her wings on Jan. 28, 2022 at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley, surrounded by her sisters Omega and Tanesha Williams.
April attended Leroy Elementary School and graduated from Washington County High School. She continued her education in Hanford, Calif., before returning back to her home in Leroy. A member of Good Stone AME Zion Church in Leroy, she was baptized in Lemoore, Calif. April loved to sing, hangout with her friends, and shop. She was a sweet sister that loved her nieces and nephews, who she would babysit. Her famous words about them were "they bad butts, get on my nerves." She will be remembered for her bossiness, rolling her eyes when she didn't like what you said, but above all her beautiful smile. She just loved being around people.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Vonia McBride Hannon; her father, Ernest Williams; and her brother, Angelo Williams.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories her 10 brothers and sisters who love her dearly, Debra Brown (Charles), Arthur McBride (Audrey), Charonda Scott, Omega Williams, Tanesha Williams, Marcus Williams (Alexis), Brian Hannon (Maria), Shanequa Williams (Josh), Kimberly Williams and Chiquonna Tunstall; stepmother, Rita Williams; stepfather, Melvin Hannon; two very dear nieces, Andrea Villanueva and Tammy Pugh; with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, some very loving aunts and uncles, and many friends from the east to west coast.
