Arthur Holmes

Arthur Holmes, a native and resident of the Frankville community, answered the Master’s call Saturday, May 9, 2020 while at the Washington County Hospital in Chatom. Born March 31, 1933 to Ross Holmes Sr. and Annie Holmes, he was 87 years of age.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Lilly Holmes and Clementine Holmes; brothers, Ross Holmes Jr., R.C. Holmes and R.B. Holmes.

Left to cherish his memories are two stepdaughters, Gracie Marion (Grief) of St. Petersburgh, Fla., and Lois Washington of Miami, Fla.; devoted caretakers, Henry Franks and Lovevetta Franks of St. Petersburgh and Hank Snowden and Jackie Snowden of Frankville; with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and loving cousins and friends.
