Ashley Danielle Howell

Ashley Danielle Howell, affectionately known as “Bird” was born May 24, 1985 to Peggy and Juan Howell. Gone too soon... Ashley’s life came to an end on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at her home in Whatley, AL. Ashley attended Leroy High School and was a proud member of the graduating Class of 2004. Ashley was known for her love and devotion to her children (one who joined her in death). Her jolly spirit and beautiful smile which she so joyfully shared with all that she came in contact with.

Ashley was joined in death by her son, Jayden Dewayne Howell; and preceded in death by both, her maternal grandparents: Ruben Taylor, Sr. and Lillie Bell Taylor; and both paternal grandparents: Lula V. Williams and Ben Davis.

Ashley leaves to cherish her precious memories, her daughter, Jayln Howell; her mother, Peggy T. Howell; father, Juan D. Howell;brother, Christopher J. Taylor, Sr. of Mt. Vernon, AL; and two sisters: Ursula Tameika Howell of Leroy, AL and Nichelle  Johnson of Jackson, AL; her Goddaughter, Makenna Williamson; Godparents: Evelyn and Ernest Moore, Wayne Pugh and Reverend and Mrs. Mulvoy Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; three devoted friends: April Moore, Wendy Denson and Stephanie Pugh.

Master Jayden Howell was born October 26, 2016 to the late Ashley Danielle Howell and Terrance LeWayne McClammy, Sr. Jayden’s life came to an end on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at home in Whatley, AL. Jayden was very quiet and a sweet eight year old that loved life. He was a second grade student attending Grove Hill Elementary School. He loved sports, our favorite “football player”. He was a proud member of the “Lions” Football Team. He loved video games, especially Roblox.

Jayden leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving and devoted sister, Jayln Howell; maternal grandparents: Peggy and Juan Howell; uncle: Christopher J. Taylor, Sr.; aunts: Ursula Tameika Howell and Nichelle Johnson; father, Terrance McClammy, Sr.; paternal grandparents: Angie (Antonia) McGhee and Berlee Jones, Sr.; great grandmothers: Christine McClammy and Inell Jones; siblings: Niylah McClammy, Terrance McClammy, Jr. and Kayden McClammy; aunts: Xavera McGhee and Jasmine Jones; and uncles: Tyrez Thrash, Berlee Jones, Jr. and Jonathan Jones all of McIntosh, AL; also left to cherish his memories are his Godparents: Angie McReynolds and Steve and Donna Brown; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
