Cathy Ann Jenkins

Cathy Ann Jenkins, a resident of Jackson, made her earthly transition on Thursday, June 10, 2021 while at Mobile Infirmary Hospital. She was born Sept. 21, 1970 to Dorothy Stewart and Eddie Beck.

To know Cathy was to love her; she had a smile that would light up a room. She would always make you feel better with her comforting hugs. She knew how to be the life of the party and fully enjoyed being with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Willie Coates. 

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Santana Jenkins of Gautier, Miss., Willie Jenkins of Texas, Anzale Jenkins of Huntsville and Laquario Jenkins of Iowa; grandchildren, Willie Jr., Casyn, Kimoria, Coltyn, Camorian, Logan and Kimauriya; stepmother, Mildred Beck of Jackson; sisters, Lela Mae (Robert) Darrington of Jackson,  Charlotte Parker of Kernersville, N.C., Mildred (Anthony) James of Winston-Salem, N.C. and Bonita Beck of Jackson; brothers, Bernard Stewart of Cleveland, Ohio, Eddie L. (Bernita) Beck of Jackson and Eric (Sayta) Muhammad of Los Cruces, N.M.; sister-in-law, Frances Coates; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, devoted nieces, Kristy Gamble and friends, Janice B. Hatfield, Kristina Gamble, Ann Parker and Niecey James.
