Charlie " Clifton" Williams

Deacon Charlie "Clifton" Williams of Alma was born June 21, 1945 to the late Henry James "H.J." Foxx and Virgin Williams Foxx. He passed peacefully Sept. 25, 2022 surrounded by family.

Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Robert E. Williams Sr.; brothers, Archie and Joe Allen Foxx; and sisters, Pearlie Jackson and Lue Reader Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Dorean Williams; sons, Larry (Etta) Williams of Gainestown, Clifford (La Tisha) Williams of Jackson and Felix (Damaron) Williams of Little Elm, Texas; one daughter, Alixira (Elijah) Jackson of Heartland, Texas; one sister, Ethel (Leo) Washington of Gainestown; two brothers, Alexander (Adline) Foxx and Henry (Tina) Foxx, both of Dallas, Texas; two brothers-in-law, Walter (Lillie) Jackson of Gainestown and Jerry (Glenda) Jackson of Desoto, Texas; sisters-in-law, Corean Black of Thomasville, Gloria Foxx and Sellasteen Foxx, both of Gainestown, and Lou Della (Jessie) Pugh of Toddtown; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Williams of Gainestown; two uncles, Jefferson Williams and Jody Foxx, both of Gainestown; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends whom he loved dearly.
