Claudette Fikes Williams, a native of Mobile, AL, was born July 19, 1960 to the late Clint Fikes and Bernice Abston Moore; she was 58 years of age.
Claudette loved people and most of all her kingdom work in the mission field, where she ministered at nursing homes in Washington and Clarke County. She was the Sunday school secretary, youth teacher, and sang in the church choir. Family and friends, nurturing children, laughing, shopping, traveling, knitting, word games, telling her boys about her favorite car that she wanted, baking desserts, cooking family meals, the smell of flowers, taking memorable photos, music, singing to her favorite artist Shirley Caesar, Bible study in her back room, peaceful walks with her dog Sweetie, were her delight. She interceded for others and always showed her love for Christ by witnessing about His love for them. Claudette always wanted a baby girl, but instead the Lord blessed her with two beautiful daughters-in-love named Victoria and Larissa.
She leaves to cherish her memory and legacy her husband of 35 years, William Williams of St. Stephens, AL; three sons, Charles (Larissa) Williams of San Antonio, TX, Johnny (Victoria) Williams of Mobile, AL and Jermaine Williams of St. Stephens, AL; one grandson, Price Williams who was her heart; her loving mother, Mrs. Bernice Abston Moore of St. Stephens, AL; four siblings, sister, Brenda Fikes of Bay Minette, AL, brothers, Clint (Bobbie Jean) Fikes of McIntosh, AL, Efrem W. (Jennifer) Moore of Santa Barbara, CA, and Charles (Selena) Burnes of Corpus Christi, TX. She leaves to cherish her smile, laughter and good times to a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
