Cora Lee Hinton

Cora Lee Hinton was born Aug. 3, 1949 in Whatley to the late Charlie Lee Burroughs and Maggie Lee Burroughs. She departed this life on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Preceding her in death was her daughter, Marie Hinton, and her children’s father, Thomas Jefferson Hinton Jr. “TJ.”

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband of 25 years, Donald Bell of Grove Hill; her children, Stephen (Lisa) Hinton and Jerry (Tracy) Hinton, both of Rochester, N.Y., Sandra Faye Hinton of Grove Hill, Demingo (Marcella) Hinton and Thomas (Kayna) Hinton III, both of Rochester, N.Y., Dedric Hinton and Sherita Bell, both of Rochester, N.Y.; loving and devoted sister, Cynthia (Alfonza) Harris of Whatley; one brother, Darryl Wayne Burroughs of Detroit, Mich.; uncles, Robert (Irene) Hill of Whatley and Albert (Helen) Hill of San Francisco, Calif.; aunts, Bertha Ezell of Whatley and Evorn Chapman of Jamaica N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.
