Debra Ann Williams Meggs transitioned from this life on Sunday, August 2, 2020 while at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery, AL. Born November 27, 1959 to Bill Chancey and Julia Williams, she was 60. She was a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church in Manila, AL and provided for her family by cooking. Bright spots in her days were cooking, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Roy Meggs, Sr.; son, Roy Meggs, Jr.; parents, Bill Chancey and Julia Williams; and brother, Johnny Foxx.

Left to forever cherish her precious memories are four children, Erica Meggs, Natasha Meggs, and Tyronshula (Cleveland) Worthy, all of Jackson, AL, and Lida Campbell, Grove Hill, AL; two sisters, Cynthia (Nathaniel) Foxx, and Equanda Foxx, both of Gainestown, AL; four brothers, Jerry Foxx, Cleophus Foxx, Randy Foxx, and Tricyee Foxx, all of Gainestown, AL; two as daughters, Jennifer Williams, Gainestown, AL, and Sandra Dunson, Jackson, AL; special friends, Irene Hill, Grove Hill, AL, Katrina Taylor, Jackson, AL, Louise Rivers, Gainestown, AL, and Cynthia Foxx Watkins, Mobile, AL; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
