Debra Ann Monigan Williams was born on April 3, 1963, to the late Acie Monigan and Bertha Lee Davis Monigan Debra traded her time for eternity on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at a local hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Debra, affectionately known as "Deb" by her family and friends, was a sweet, kind, and loving soul. She was a 1981 graduate of McIntosh High School. Deb loved the Lord and lived her life as a faithful servant of God. She was a dedicated member of the Church of God Pentecostal in Dixons Mills, where she faithfully a as usher and a member of the hospitality committee.
Deb was a compassionate caregiver who truly loved caring for others. She took great pride in her work and was loved by everyone she cared for. Her warm smile and kind spirit made every interaction memorable, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. She also worked as a custodian at Marengo High School, where she was known for her dedication, strong work ethic, and friendly personality.
Deb was preceded in death by her husband, James Williams. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories; two sisters; one loving and devoted, Barbara (Gregory) Barnes, and Gloria Ramsey; two nephews, Gregory (Jerrilyn) Barnes Jr, and Christopher ((Tytianna) Barnes; one niece Xavier Barnes; two great-nieces, Gianna Barnes and Journee Barnes; three great great-nephews, Christopher Jr. , Colynn, and Cayson Barnes; eleven aunts, Clara (John) Dunning, Delia West, Aslean (Robert) Johnson, Ida Cox, Mae Etta Roper, Betty Marks, Doris (Joe) Johnson, Beatrice Davis, Silieah Campbell, Magnolia Robinson, and Easter Monigan; two uncles, Izell (Sandra) Davis and Frank Monigan; stepmother, Vernell Monigan , five devoted friends, Ann Poellnitz, Alanda Nobles, Christine, Deacon Treadwell, and Mother Treadwell; and host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Deb's legacy of faith, kindness, compassion, and love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that she is resting peacefully in the presence of the Lord she loved so dearly.
