Deloris (Hunt) Robinson

Delois Hunt Robinson, a resident of Grove Hill, made her transition from this life into eternal life on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2022, while at her home. She was born May 10, 1936 in Grove Hill to the late Nellie Robinson Hunt and Leroy Hunt. A faithful member of Orange Hill Baptist Church, she was known as "Big Ma" to all and loved by many. She loved her diet cokes, enjoyed cooking, listening to country music and having conversations with her family. 

Delois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin "A.D." Robinson; sisters, Margaret “CoCo”Lewis Deese, Inez Hill, Mittie Gray Bettis, Sarah Lee Hunt, Mary Lou Sales and Margaret Nell Martin; brothers, Booker T. Presnall, Jessie Presnell Sr. and Willie Lee Robinson; daughter, Mae Wanda Robinson; stepson, David Robinson and granddaughter, Kiyuanna Williams.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories one son, Bruce (Zita) Robinson of Grove Hill; two daughters, Diane Robinson of Grove Hill and Brenda Robinson of Akron, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Tabatha Robinson, Tamika (Reggie) Turner, Adrian (Vernetta) Robinson and Jamie Lee Robinson, all of Grove Hill, Marland Robinson of Jackson, Cheakita Robinson of Huntsville, Brandon Robinson of Akron, Ohio and two devoted, Zykeria and Tykeria Hill, both of Grove Hill; with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
