Eddie Lee Robinson, a resident of Gainestown, answered the Master’s call Thursday evening, Nov. 14, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born Dec. 31, 1944 to Tellie Robinson and Eddie Powell and was raised by his grandparents, Sam T. Robinson and Amelia Robinson.
Early in life, he united with Gainestown AOH Church. Mr. Robinson enjoyed fishing and hunting. Most of all he loved sharing with others the gift the Lord blessed him with, playing the keyboard and singing. He played for several church choirs and groups throughout the area. Always willing to serve whenever he was called upon. He also enjoyed visiting with the sick and shut-ins and spending time with family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents and grandparents; mother-in-law, Flora Rankin; and brother-in-law, Archie Foxx.
Left to cherish his loving memories are his loving, caring and devoted wife of 50 years, Mary L. Robinson of Gainestown; four sons, Leveste (Annette) Robinson of Grove Hill, and Kennies (Janice) Robinson, Craig Robinson and Jeffery (Karen) Robinson, all of Gainestown; one daughter, Millicent (Lawrence) Foxx, of Gainestown; father-in-law, Eddie Rankin of Gainestown; four brothers-in-law, Eddie J.
