Edna Moss Sharp, better known to family and friends as ”Pruney”, traded time for eternity July 17 surrounded by her family. Edna was born Dec. 28, 1938 to Dock and Lovie Mae Lynum Mose. Edna was born and raised in Clarke County and later moved to Mobile, where she met Floyd Sharp and later moved to Los Angeles, Calif. where they united in holy matrimony on June 10, 1972. She devoted her time as a full time housewife.
Edna was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church in Whatley, where she loved attending, She loved doing jigsaw puzzles and dressing nice.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Clayree Campbell and Emma Smith and brother, Ernest Lee Mose.
Edna leaves to cherish her loving memories her children, Dorothy Love, Joyce (David) Smith, Debra Mose, Roy (Shermeka) Mose, Felicia Broussard, Arlisa Pernell, Floyd, Jr. (Arlissa) Sharp and one brother, Eddie Mose; one niece Rosie Davis-Lewis; 23 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren, devoted friends and faithful nurses, Donna York and Mary Ann Pruge.
