Edrice Theo Thomas

Edrice Theo Thomas, a resident of the Winn community of Jackson, answered the Master & #39;s call on Thursday, July
25, 2024, while at Jackson Health Care. Edrice was born on Feb. 18, 1927 to Tennie Williams Thomas and Shellie
Thomas. Early in life she united with Bethlehem Baptist Church, until she moved away to Lake Charles, La. and
united with Church of Christ. Following many years in Lake Charles, in 2020 she returned to the Winn community.
Edrice was a very independent person who had a great love of sewing and reading.  
Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Ruthie Mae Cox; and son, Shelly Louis Thomas.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter-in-law, Linda Viller Thomas of New Orleans, La.; six
grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in- law, Velma Thomas of
Lake Charles, La.; with a host of devoted nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
