Esther Lee Washington

The baby girl of the family, Esther Lee Washington was born February 4th 1964 to the late Raymond and Floree Washington of Chatom, AL.

Esther was preceded in death by daughter: Nickey Washington, sister: Sherry Dunn and brothers: kenneth and Ron Washington.

Esther never met a stranger and always showed love and kindness to whom ever she met. Esther always made sure you were fed and that you knew you were Loved. Esther still maintained her kind disposition,, even through her Lupus diagnosis and other severe medical conditions.

Esther resided in Alabama for most of her life, but always took opportunity to travel and enjoy good food, visiting family in NewYork & Mississippi.

Esther gained her wings on Thursday September 4th, 2025 after a long and hard fought battle with Lupus and Renal disease. Esther will be forever missed and never forgotten.

Esther is survived by her son: Shawn Washington of Mobile, AL and daughter: Sherita Washington of Albuquerque, NM, sisters: Pearl (Elmo) Taylor of Waynesboro, MS, Clarissa Roberts of Houston, TX, Mary (Dean) Lord of Farmingdale, NY and Leara Washington of Chatom, AL and brother: Don Washington of Madison, FL. with several loving nieces, nephews other beloved family members and friends.
