Felicia Antoninette Martin ,better known to family and friends as "Pumpkin" a native of Grove Hill and a resident of Huntsville, answered the Master’s call on Saturday, April 10, 2021, while at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Sept. 26, 1975 to Arnell Martin and Gwendolyn McBride Martin in Columbus, Ga.
Early in life, Felicia was a member of the Orange Hill Baptist Church in Grove Hill. She was a graduate of Clarke County High School in the Class of 1993, where she was a member of the Royal Band of Blue Flag Corp. She attended the University of South Alabama and Troy State. Felicia was a fun and loving person that never met a stranger. She had a great personality and one that you loved to be around. Felicia enjoyed having fun and living life to its fullest!
She was preceded in death by her father, Arnell Martin; and parternal grandparents
and maternal grandfather, Lawyer McBride.
Left to cherish her sweet memories is her loving and devoted mother, Gwendolyn McBride Martin; grandmother, Gladys Love McBride, both of Grove Hill; aunts and uncles,, Roger (Felicia) McBride of Madison, AL; Henriette (Charlie) Lucas of California;, James Chapman, Dennis Files of Citronelle, AL, and Georgia ( Terrance) Williams of Mt. Vernon, AL; great aunt , Annie Tripp of NC; great -uncle, Walter Martin of Logansville, GA; four cousins like siblings, Rosalyn, Antonio, Cory, and Titus. A special friend Damion Rivers of Huntsville, Al. ; friends like sisters, Bridget, Shawanda, Jacqueline, and Tamara ; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and her beloved CCHS Class of 1993.
