Finley Fox, 51, a life-long resident of the Alma community, made his earthly transition on June 26, 2024 at his residence. He was born on Nov. 7, 1972 to the parentage of Cleveria Taylor Fox and Lawerence Fox Sr. Finley was a 1992 graduate of Jackson High School where he was involved in sports. Upon graduating high school, Finley began working in the cabinet making business. He was very passionate about his work. If Finley wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys and Alabama fan.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, Lawrence Jr., Mark Anthony and Terry; sister-in-law, Karen Fox; granddaughter, Kaislynn; devoted aunt, Christine Fox Robinson; father- and mother-in-law, James Dumas and Earnestine Dumas.
Left to cherish his loving memories is his wife, Jessica Dumas Fox of Gainestown; children, Tia Fox of Jackson, Tiara (Martin) Matthews of Huntsville, LaDerius (Andrea) Dumas of Tuscaloosa and Akeya (Antonio Davis) Dumas of Jackson; three brothers, DeWayne Fox of Jackson, Jessie Fox of Dothan and Eric Fox of Gainestown; four sisters, Ora (William) Young of Jackson, Felicia (Billy) Williams of Gainestown, Donna Scott of Tuscaloosa and Carolyn; brother-in-law, Christopher (Heather) Dumas of Boaz, Ky., and siste-in-law, Millicent Fox of Gainestown; grandchildren, Ryver, Kamari, Aubery, Izaiah, Kingston, Karmello and Martin; an aunt, Ida Wilson of Ohio; with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
