Frances Mae Harris was born to the late Ira Robinson and Annie Lou (Pendleton) Gaillard on Aug. 19, 1941, the oldest of 14 children. She made her transition to eternal rest on May 4, 2021.
She joined the Indian Ridge Baptist Church at an early age, remaining an active member until her health failed.
Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Sharon Harris; and a brother, Henry Lee Gaillard.
She leaves to cherish her memories five children, Velder (Cecil) Robinson, Alphonso ( Cynthia) Harris and Tyrese Harris, all of Whatley, Arthur ( Alice) Harris of Franklin and Felton (Tamecha) Harris of Pine Hill; six brothers, Tommy Lou Burroughs, Thomas (Karen) Gaillard and Levon Jones, all of Toledo , Ohio, James Pendleton of San Bernardino, Calif., Theodore (Mattie) Gaillard Sr. of Whatley and Bennie (Jackie) Gaillard of Jackson; six sisters, Jannie Minnifield, Priscilla (Willie) Smith, Joann (John) Fail and Betty Gaillard, all of Toledo, Ohio, Claudia (Anthony) Washington of Walker Springs and Beverly Gaillard of Grove Hill; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; god-daughters, Cadeirda Martin of Foley, Denise Martin of Whatley and god-son, Cedric Fuller of Sugarland, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and devoted friend, Bessie Harris.
