Frank James Williams of the Indian Ridge Community departed this life on Monday, August 19, 2019 while at his residence. Born June 5, 1960 to Frank and Lillie Bell Kemp Williams, he was 59 years of age. He was educated in the Clarke County School System and logging was his way of life. Early im life he united with the Gainestown AOH Church. Dancing, dominoes, and socializing with people in general were his joy.
Preceding him in death are his mother, Lillie Bell Williams; grandson, Deonte Hunt; and two brothers, Eric Lewis Williams, and Herbert Lee Williams.
Left to forever cherish his memories are his loving and devoted wife, Letitia Burroughs Williams, Whatley, AL; three sons, Kelcy (Celeste) Mobley, Grove Hill, AL, Mensa Knight, Tuscaloosa, AL, and Masi Knight, Birmingham, AL; seven daughters, Francille Foster, Grove Hill, AL, Nicole Mobley and Jania Knight, both of Tuscaloosa, AL, Natasha Burroughs and Monifa Knight, both of Whatley, AL, Shelcy (Jermaine) Stevens, Jefferson, GA, and Liquita (Robert) Scotland, Charlotte, NC; father, Frank Williams, Gainestown, AL; goddaughter, Lucretia (Sam) Boykins, Jackson, AL; eleven sisters, Isabella (Oscar) Washington, Lillie (Walter) Jackson, Carolyn (Fred) Jones, Brenda (Tony) Ivory, Shirley West, Janice (Kennis) Robinson, Lenora Chapman, and Priscilla Williams, all of Gainestown, AL, Stephanie (Anthony) Brown, Mobile, AL, Adrian (Rod) Bryant, Walker Springs, AL, and Gladys (Rodrick) Hamilton, Jackson, AL; four brothers, Edward (Jennifer) Williams, Earnest (Jennifer) Williams, and Kevin Williams, all of Gainestown, AL, and Antonio Williams, Birmingham, AL; thirteen grandchildren, Taylor Stevens, Kaleb Crowell, Monae Stevens, Amayah McFadden, Gabrielle Foster, James Knight, Isaac Gamble, Layla Stevens, Jewel Scotland, Robert Scotland, III, Keshona (Andre) Clarke, Kelcy Mobley, Jr., and Drew Knight; two great grandchildren, Kaycen Stevens, and Braxton Clarke; three sisters-in-law, Ruby (Jasper) Johnson, Theodore, AL, Linda (Sam) Westry, Kalamazoo, MI, and Elaine Mark, Long Island, NY; two brothers-in-law, Marvin (Brenda) Burroughs, Detroit, MI, and Larry Burroughs, Battle Creek, MI; special friends, John Raine, Terrence Savage, Ken Horn, John Horn, Robert Lynum, and Mike Gates; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
