Frankie Mae Jackson was born May 23, 1949 to the late Dorothy Mae Jackson and the late James Jackson. She confessed Christ at an early age by joining Good Hope A.M.E. Church in Gainestown, Alabama. She moved to Mobile, AL where she became a member of Samuel Chapel A.M.E. Church. Upon returning to Jackson, AL, Frankie eventually became a member of Forest Avenue Baptist Church in Jackson, Alabama where she remained a faithful member until her illness and subsequent death. She departed this life on Sunday, October 6, 2024 in Mobile Infirmary Medical Center, Mobile Alabama.
Frankie was preceded in death by two children, Reponsa M. Jackson and Larry L. Jackson. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving son, Calvin L. (Akevia) Jackson, Mobile, AL; six brothers, Amos (Alice) Jackson, Gainestown, AL; Calvin (Imogene) Jackson, Mobile, AL; Larry (Emily) Jackson, Gainestown, AL; Derric (Sheila) Jackson, Gainestown, AL; Anthony (Cassandra) Jackson, Jackson, AL; Alonzo Jackson, Montgomery, AL; four sisters, Alfreda (Kenny) Caffie, Mobile, AL; Karen Pope, Grove Hill, AL; Sandra Jackson, Montgomery, AL; Stacy (Henry) Moore, McKinney, TX; seven grandchildren, Mikala N. Jackson, Mobile, AL; Mikeil L. Jackson, Oceanside, CA; Shandra N. Jackson, Birmingham, AL; Lamont L. Jackson, Birmingham, AL; Akelia Jackson, Mobile, AL; Calvin L. Jackson, Smyrna, GA; Calisha Jackson, Mobile, AL; five great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
