Gloria Jean (Fox) Harris

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Gloria Fox Harris, who departed this life on August 13, 2025, at the age 62.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend, Gloria was a lifelong resident of Jackson, Alabama, and touched many lives with her strength, compassion, and  unwavering love for her family. She was a member of the Jackson High School Class of 1981. She spent many years working for Wal-mart SuperCenter in Jackson, Al.

Born on January 19, 1963, Gloria was the cherished daughter of Elvin Fox and the late Sophie Fox. She built a life centered on faith, family, and kindness. Gloria's warmth and grace were felt by all who knew her , and her presence brought joy and comfort to those around her.

Gloria was preceded in death by her mother Sophie Montgomery Fox and son- in- law Gregory Ramos Jr.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Major Lee Harris; her loving daughter, LeAngel Perry (Micheal); and her treasured grandson, Cyler Rankins, who brought immense joy to her heart. She is also survived by her loving father, Elvin Fox. Six Bonus Children, Timothy Boykins (Shaye), Patrick (Nikita) Robinson, Chris (Tanja) Harris Sr., Shaloundra Holmes- Ramos, LaShoundra (Jaheim) Jordan, and Crystal Harris. Gloria also leaves behind her dear sisters, Patricia Fox and Angela Fox (Joseph) Collins; her brothers, Micheal (Carolyn) Montgomery, Alfred Fox, and Charlie Frank Montgomery; Five bonus sisters, Betty Jean Williams (Eddie), Sharon Starling, Ronell Nicholson, Martha (Lavell) Waldrip, Dorothy (Derrick) Franklin, Emily (Larry) Jackson; One Bonus Brother, Amos (Alice) Jackson and her lifelong best friend, Melesia Taylor; A host of devoted nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
