Golden Smith Phelon "Buddy Boy" was born to the parentage of Tom Phelon and Sarah Darrington Phleon on November 17, 1956 in the Choctaw Bluff Community of Jackson. He was the 11th child . Mr. Phelon , affectionately known as Buddy Boy, was employed with the J.M. Bradshaw Contracting Incorporation.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Joseph, Tom, Eugene, and King Phelon, three sisters, Mattie Bell Jackson, Sarah Ann Young, and Rene Louis Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memories one son Joshua Bell of Butler, Al, three brothers, Rev. Wash Phelon, David ( Chena ) Phelon , Rivers (Nancy) Phelon all of Choctaw Bluff, AL, two sisters, Mary ( Timothy ) Reaves of Choctaw Bluff, AL and Rannie Davis of Jackson, AL, one devoted friend Freddie Lee Perine , a devoted care giver Senora Robinson , and a host of nieces ,nephews, family and friends.
