Gregory Earl Parker
Gregory Earl Parker was born on July 31, 1955, in Jackson, Alabama to the parentage of the late Walter George Parker, and Martha Ella Rodgers Parker. Gregory transitioned into eternity on March 31, 2021. Gregory, A.K.A. known as "Little Toot", was the first of five children. He received his formal education at Harper High School.
He became a member of Mt Olive #2 Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Reverend E.L. Williams. Gregory was employed with Vanity Fair for 25 years. Gregory also liked to do plumbing work, and cooking. He liked watching wrestling, but most of all he loved the Lord and his family. Those who preceded Gregory in this transition were his father, Walter George Parker, one sister Veronica Jill Parker Jones, two grandmothers Leola Rodgers, Corine Parker, two grandfathers Eddie Rodgers, Henry Parker Sr.
Precious memories of Gregory will forever be cherished in the heart of those he left behind, mother Martha Rodgers Parker, of Jackson, AL ; seven children Steven Jones, Jessica Parker, Shenay (Edward) Mc Reynolds, Romyko (Sylvia) Mc Kenzie, all of Jackson,AL, Anthony Robinson of Whatley, AL, Brittney ( Marquette) Ashley , of Louisiana , Gregory Parker Jr. of Montgomery, AL; two daughters that he loved as his own of Montgomery, AL. ; three sisters, Lenora Jackson, Rose Parker, Benita Emory, all of Jackson,AL ; twenty - seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
