Harriet King Jackson, a native and resident of Jackson, made her earthly transition on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022, at with her husband by her side. She was born Sept. 5, 1963 to Dorether Bonner King and Albert Dean King. Early in life Harriet was a member A.O.H. Holiness Church, later she united with First Assembly of God where she attended.
Harriet was a graduate of Jackson High School. She was a very quiet person who keep to yourself.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one sister, Minnie Lee King; and her father-in-law, Richard Jackson.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Wade Jackson Sr.; daughter, Tarsha King of Jackson; son, Wade Jackson Jr.; six sisters, Elouise Bonner, Doris King, Ruthie (Cecil) King, Cassie (Larry) Williams, Harriet (Wade) Jackson and Elizabeth (Stanley) Johnson, all of Jackson.; three brothers, Otis Lee Bonner of Marietta, Ga., Albert Dean King Sr. of Jackson and Edward (Paula) King of Bristow, Va.; mother-in-law, Catherine Martin Jackson of Jackson; six brothers-in-law, Sampson Jackson, Cedric Jackson and Paul Jackson, all of Jackson, Joseph (Connie Faye) Jackson of Grovetown, Ga., James Jackson of Killeen, Texas, and Michael (Teresa) Jackson of Dothan; with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives.
