Henry Lee Owens a resident of the Fulton Community answered the Master's Call on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at his home surrounded by his beloved wife and son.
Henry was born July 21, 1946 to Joseph Owens and Willie Pearl Butler Owens.
Early in life Henry united with Midway Baptist Church in Dickerson, AL. There he served faithfully as a Ward Leader and presently on the Ushers Board. where he loved serving before his health declined.
He retired from Scotch Plywood Lumber Company after fourty-eight years of dedicated service. He was currently employed as Correctional Officer with Clarke County Sheriff Department.
During Henry spare time, he loved fishing and hunting and was an Avid Alabama and 49ers Fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Frazier, Johnny, Arthur, Oliver and Parker O'Neal Owens; sisters: Daisy Mae Owens, Barbara O. Allen, & Elizabeth Owens; sisters-in-laws; Gloria Jean Owens and Lovie Mae Owens.
Henry leaves to cheris his memories, his loving and devoted wife of fifty-four years , Annye DuBose Owens of Fulton, AL; a devoted son, Henry Darrell (Katina) Owens of Tuscaloosa, AL; five grandchildren; JaCori, TaKelsi, TeKeari, Ken and Asia; five great grandchildren; Aminia, Amyiah, Tristin, Antonioand Ryleigh; four godchildren: Anthony Davis, Katina Howell, Ingrid Watson and LaDanus Butler; two brothers: Joseph Owens, Jr. of Dickinson, AL and George Owens of Birmingham, AL; three sisters: Willie Clyde (Peter) Vaughn of Thomasville, AL, Gloria (Bishop David) Dumas of Talladega, AL and Diane Owens of Dickinson, AL; brothers and sisters-in-law: Jimmy DuBose of Tuscaloosa, AL, Julius DuBose of Atlanta, GA, James (Lucy) DuBose of Fulton, AL, Jack DuBose of Tampa, FL, Robert (Faye) DuBose of Pensacola, FL and Hosea Allen, Jr. of Dickinson AL, Frances Bates of El Paso, TX, Dannye Sumlin of Fulton, AL: Eucille (Henry) Jones of Desoto, TX, Georgia (Larry ) Williams of Tuscaloosa, AL, Bobbie Joann Owens of Chicago, IL and Joann Owens of Thomasville, AL; a dedicated neighbor, Enzer Williams· longtime devoted fnend, James Allen; and a host of other relatives, coworkers and friends.
