Henry Young Obituary

Henry Earl Young a native and resident of Morning Star Community of Whatley better known to family and friends as “GI”, made his earthly transition on Friday November 13 while at Stone County Nursing and Rehab in Wiggins, Ms. He was born March 23,1953 to Willie, Sr. and Emma Lee Lynum Young. GI as he was affectionate call loving passing out religious tracts, hunting and raising animals, he never met a stranger.Early in life he served his country in the United States Army and received and honorable discharge. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jacqueline Morissette Young and brother, Clay Young. Left to cherish him memories are two daughters; Shalanda R. Smith of Jackson and Aaliyah S. Young of Montgomery. Two brothers; Rev. Willie,Jr. (Laura) Young and Charles Young
three sisters; Cora Young, Ida Young Mobley and Liza (Rev. Jimmy) Snell all of Whatley. Two grandchildren, Isaiah Troy Smith and Jacqueline Lucille Meggs. brother
in law Victor(Rose) Morissette of Whatley, Blanche Young and Phil Walker both of Georgia and Lenell Walker of Grove Hill, sister in laws, Maggie (Daniel ) Dozier of Mobile and Sandra(James) Osborne of Grove Hill. Special friends,  Craig and Betsy Gavin and the employees of Craig’s Automotive and Precision in Thomasville and Dean and the employee’s at the Bible Book Store in Pensacola, Fl. And a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
