Hosie Lamount Brown Sr. was born July 7, 1972 to the late Augusta and Luereather Brown in Walker Springs. He departed this life Monday, Feb. 21, 2022 at the home of his sister. Before his health failed, he worked for Bradford as a loader. Hosie was a huge LSU fan. He was loved by many.
Forever cherishing his memory are his three sons, Brandon Lilly, Hosie Brown Jr. and Javious Brown; one grandson, Kolby Lilly; godson, Titus Caves; four sisters, Lorraine Mosley, Rushieal Gaile Pritchett, Wanda (Davie) Williams and Genella (Michael) Hurd; one brother, Dekendrick Brown; devoted nieces and nephews, Mauricy, Teneechin, Deidra, Shatari, Candance, Brittany, Tychius and Tyra; aunts, Lucinda (Charles) Clarke, Lillie Scott and Bernice Clarke, all of Chicago, Ill., Lucile Ware of Jackson, AL, Lula Brown and Leacie Jones of Walker Springs; uncles, Daniel (Ida) Jones of Walker Springs and John (Alice) Jones of Chicago, Ill.; great-aunts, Lillie McCarriel of Buffalo, N.Y., Mary F. Williams and Lula M. Jones, both of Mobile; with a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
