James C. Edgar

Mr. James C. Edgar, aka “Blue Boy” and “Bobcat” departed this life on Sunday, July 12, 2020 while at University Hospital in Mobile, AL. Born September 23, 1958 to Earnest and Essie Lee Pugh Edgar, he was 61.

James loved cooking, grilling, and gardening. Driving trucks was his way of life. He was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church in the Clarksville Community.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Frankie Mae Martin Edgar; parents, Earnest and Essie Edgar; and two brothers, Thomas Earl Chapman and Frazier Edgar.

  Left to forever cherish his precious memory are two sons, Jonas Martin and Kendrick Martin both of Grove Hill, AL; two daughters, Amanda Martin, Thomasville, AL and Leslie Edgar, Grove Hill, AL; three brothers, Robert Lee Chapman, Grove Hill, AL, Hugo Chapman and Earnest (Sonya) Edgar, Jr., both of Long Beach, CA; three sisters, Ethel Mae Foreman and Rosie Malone both of GroveHill, AL, and Nettie Creighton, Coffeeville, AL; one uncle and aunt, Eld. Jessie and Mattie Henry, Toddtown, AL; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
