Jeffery "Big JoB" Collins, Sr. to Willis Collins and Carrie Bracy Thigpen in Jackson, AL. He departed this life on Monday March 24, 2025.
Jeffery received his formal education at Clarke County High School, graduating in the Class of 1994. He later moved to Atlanta, GA and began working in the Construction Industry with Nick Fowler Construction.
Jeffery was the oldest of three siblings. His outgoing spirit touched so many hearts and whomever grew to know Jeffery gained a lifetime friend. Jeffery was a true Alabama "Roll Tide" Football fan. Jeffery enjoyed cooking and being with family and friends. He was always there, ready with a joke to fill the room with laughter.
Jeffery was preceded in death by his grandparents: Walter Sr. and Ada Collins and Robert Sr. and Eliza Bracy; ten Uncles and three Aunts.
Jeffery leaves to cherish his memories: a loving father, Willis (Luella) Collins; his precious and devoted mother Carrie (Jimmy) Thigpen; three daughters: DeKayla Collins, JaKuana Collins and Janiyah Collins: four sons Jefferey Collins, Jr., Breaden Collins, Ja'Kavien Collins, and Jeremiah Collins; with five beautiful grandchildren: Kiyah, Tiana, Deon, Khyzer and A'doya; one devoted brother Frank (Maygen) Collins of Atl, GA., one devoted sister Ada Collins of Leroy, AL. A host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousin others relatives and wonder friends.
