Evangelist Josephine Jones Nobles was born on March 13th, 1953, in Fulton Alabama to Clarence and Mamie Jones. She graduated from Clarke County High School in 1971. Josephine accepted and confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior when she joined the Church of the Living God in Coffeeville, AL. In the year 2000, she joined the Thomasville Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Supt. Dr. Jimmy Allen where she became an evangelist, missionary, Sunday school teacher, mothers board member and deacons’ wives’ president.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mamie Jones. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Deacon Clifford Nobles Sr; two daughters: Dr. Monique Cornett of Fredericksburg, VA and Ms. Veronica Moore; one son FirstClass Petty Officer Clifford James Nobles (Sarah) of Great lakes, IL; eight grandchildren: Jamarious, Clifford Tyler, Maria, Vaniya, Idrian, Terrah, and Clifford III; eight great grandchildren: Ezra, Khiza, EJ, Jayson, Carter, Scarlet, Zara andMoriah; two brothers: Benny (Kathy) Jones, Darren Jones; two sisters: Alice (Michael) Kidd and Shelia (Tyrone) Hillery; one aunt Bettye Williams, Hephzibah, GA, and a devoted caregiver Roenelle Nicholson. She had a host of other relatives and friends.
