Kenneth “Bodolee” Chapman departed his life on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2020 at his home in Grove Hill.
Kenneth was born on March14, 1965 to Gladys Chapman Coates and Nathaniel Chapman.
He was a truck driver for many years, using the handle “Bojangle,” as well as a lifelong Alabama Fan, “Roll Tide.” He was fondly known to family and friends as “Bodolee,” an all-around good person willing to help anyone at any time.
Proceeding him in death is his daughter, Nifisha Kimbrough.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Gladys Chapman Coates of Grove Hill; three daughters, Veronia Chapman of Grove Hill, and Tanisha and Miasha Chapman, both of Whatley; one son, Kenneth Kimbrough of Whatley; six grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly (Jeffery) Martin of Grove Hill and Lisa (Daniel) Jackson of Jackson; two brothers, Anthony (Levere) Love of Cincinnati, Ohio and Damien (Shanika) Crayton of Mobile; a very special friend, Lakeysha Burroughs of Whatley and devoted friends include Aaron Chapman, Jesse Leonard, Michael Taite and Durlin Martin, all of Grove Hill; with a host of aunts, nieces, uncles, nephews and friends. Ken, you will be greatly missed by all whose life you touched. We love you, our Angle.
