Kenny Lee Kidd, age 58, was born Dec. 19, 1963 at Jackson Medical Center in Jackson, to the loving parentage of the late Mr. Thomas Kidd and the late Mrs. Evelyn Gamble Kidd in the Winn community. He departed this life Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Prairie Estates, Frisco, Texas.
Mr. Kidd, a 1981 graduate of Coffeeville High School, was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church. He was employed for nearly 30 years with Clarke-Mobile Counties Gas Company. He began in the position of a lawn care provider and became permanent when he landed the position of service technician, with multiple certifications and he became a highly qualified gas representative. Retiring in 2014, he began coaching football for younger children, something he dearly enjoyed.
Kenny also enjoyed family vacations, listening to his oldies music and telling stories about the good old days! He loved fishing, grilling and motorcycle riding. Antique cars and fancy sports cars were favorites, along with dressing up in nice attire.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Kidd, along with other family members.
He leaves his loving memory to be cherished by his wife of 19 years, Tangela Perine Kidd of Jackson; four loving children, Kimmi (Tia Burnett) Kidd of Dallas, Texas, Noland T. Perine of Aviano, Italy, Yazsmine Bernard of Grove Hill and Kaylota Kidd of Jackson; one sister and brother, respectively, Sandra Kidd and Frank Gamble, both of Grove Hill; five nephews, Frank “Duce” Gamble and Tyrese “TD” Gamble, both of Jacksonville, Fla., Kourtland Coleman and Darien Robinson, both of Jackson, and DeAndrea Ward of Mobile; one sister-in-law, Angela (Dennis) Robinson; father-in-law, Noland Perine, both of Jackson; with good friends, Lemmy Molden, Woody Pugh, Leon Bracey, Tyrese Mitchell, Clausell Boykin and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
