Kenyada Juan Mitchell
Kenyada Juan Mitchell quietly slipped away into the arms of Jesus on Friday, May 22, 2020 in Birmingham. He was born Feb. 6, 1991 to Shawanna M. Tarlton in Millry. Kenyada joined the Koenton C&J Holiness Church at an early age, where the pastor is Lodis C. Johnson. Later, he became a member of the All Nation Church in Fairfield with Bishop Jonathan Woods Sr.
Kenyada was a member of the Class of 2010 at Leroy High School. He was an avid Alabama fan, enjoyed watching Sports Center, playing Dominos. He was a very quiet young man who enjoyed all he did.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Victoria Sashington, Lewis Mitchell and Lee Frank and Dessie Tarlton.
Kenyada leaves to forever cherish his precious memories his mother and father, Shawanna and Frankie Tarlton; one brother, Bryssen Tarlton of St. Stephens; sister, Gabrielle Tarlton of Troy; devoted grandmother and grandfather, Mary and Willie Steward of Silas; godfather, Darius (Yvette) Chapman of St. Stephens; godmothers, Farrah Lockhart and Gayle White; five aunts, Farrah Lockhart, Sierra Welch, Jessie Brown, Patricia (Carl) Dawkins and Brenda Howell; a host of great-aunts and great-uncles; devoted cousin and friend, Angelo Jackson; devoted god-brother, Angelo “Jay” Jackson Jr.; with devoted cousins, relatives and friends.
