Kiki Moore Obituary

Dr. Kiki Scott Moore was born on April 26, 1977, to Willie and Carolyn Daffin Scott. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Olive #2 Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. W.T. Lang. Kiki traded time for eternity on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Mobile Infirmary Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Scott.

Dr. Kiki Moore was a graduate of the Jackson High School Class of 1995. She continued her educational pursuits at Talladega College. She completed master’s level studies at the United States Sports Academy and completed doctoral studies at Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Moore’s educational accomplishments afforded her consistent opportunities for growth in her career at Coastal Alabama Community College. She began her twenty-two-year tenure with the College in the summer of 2001 as an Educational Talent Search Specialist. After working in this capacity for many years, she was promoted to the position of Director of Student Support Services and later served as Director of both the Jackson and Thomasville Campuses. Kiki truly loved helping her students, and they came from near and far to receive her guidance.

Dr. Moore was a faithful and enthusiastic member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. She was devoted to her sorority’s mission of advancing education, leadership, and service to the community at large. She was initiated into the Chi Chapter on the campus of Talladega College in the Fall of 1997. In May of 2022, she became a charter member of the Alpha Beta Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. She served as a member of the Risk Management Committee, the Archives Committee, and the Newsletter Committee during her time with the chapter.

On November 26, 2005, she married her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, Tavarus (T-Bob) Moore. They shared a wonderful life and could often be found traveling, enjoying the best shopping experiences, relaxing spa days, and eating at the finest restaurants. Their union was truly blessed.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her devoted husband, Tavarus (T-Bob) Moore; her mother, Carolyn Scott; two siblings: Ericka (Warlando) Ridgeway of Jackson, AL and Jarshaun Scott of Mobile, AL; in-laws: Wandra (Walter) Creighton and Clausel (Peggy) Pritchett; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, one devoted, Geshla Woodard.
